More About Vals’ Kale Chips
“I've always had an affinity to veggies”
In 2012 Valerie became a raw foodist/vegan, and like many other vegans, she found it difficult to find a raw food snack. In the comfort of her kitchen, she began making kale chips for her own delight and would serve them to house guests when she hosted gatherings. Her family and friends' feedback on the kale chips was positive and uplifting. In fact, they encouraged her to start a business selling those kale chips! Soon after, Val’s Kale Chips were available to the public.
Why this snack is one of its kind
Fast forward to 2023, and there are now five available Kale chip flavors, including Garlic, Sweet Garlic, Original, Spicy, and Ginger Spice.
“Kale is a superfood,” says Valerie.
When making the kale chips, Valerie dehydrates the vegetable so it will not lose its nutritional value. In fact, one serving of Val’s Kale Chips provides 50% of the recommended daily intake for Vitamin A and 60-80% of the recommended Vitamin C intake. Kale is an antioxidant great for your skin, hair, and eye health.
